Hike for Nepal

Hike for Nepal is a campaign that shows Nepal is still a beautiful place to travel to by organizing weekly hiking events in and around the Kathmandu Valley.
Hike for Nepal sprouted from a group of friends that gathered to distribute relief materials to affected families in Kavre and Sindhupalchowk and built a temporary shelter for a school in Nuwakot immediately after the earthquake.
Believing that you need to take the lead yourself the group now wants to show that Nepal is still a beautiful place.
In the hiking events that are open for national and international travelers already 600 participants including 60 foreigners took part.
Hike for Nepal has international support from Malaysia and Sweden where local versions of Hike for Nepal take place.
