The #YouHikeTheyRise campaign, an initiative of Himalayan Enchanters, also aims to raise awareness about the status of Nepal when it comes to how safe and secure it is for travelers. It seeks to dispel the myth that Nepal has been completely devastated and there is nothing to see. On the contrary, most of Nepal’s attractions are still up and running. Thus, the campaign is geared using the hashtag to make the world aware that Nepal still stands and it still welcomes visitors. Thousands of livelihoods depend on tourism, hence the hashtag #youhiketheyrise.
