Kasthamandap to Khokana

A cycle rally ‘Ride Kasthamandap to Khokana Linking Heritage’ is being organized on Saturday with an objective to reconstruct Khokana–a traditional Newar village situated south of Lalitpur. More than 200 mountain biking enthusiasts are participating in the event. The collected charity amount will be handed over to Khokana reconstruction committee.
Starting from Kasthamandap, Basantapur at 7 am, the rally will take a route to Kalimati, Balkhu, Chobar, Chalnakhel, Bungmati and ends at Khokana.
“Ride Kasthamandap to Khokana offers the true experience of mountain biking apart from being a charity event. We will also organize two-hour cleaning campaign after reaching there,” said Ranjan Bhandari, promoter and chief organizer and general manager of Nepal Mountain Bike Tours.

The participation fee – Rs 500.
