Crystal Mountain Treks just completed a status check of the trek from Nar village to Teri La to Tange Village in Upper Mustang to make sure the trail was safe enough for their clients.
They saw No earthquake impact whatsoever. However, like the Dhaulagiri Circuit trail, the route does have some rock fall danger and there are a couple off sections that are quite dicey after the descent from the Teri La pass. Because this is not a very popular trail, the route isn’t as clearly marked as others. Crystal Mountain Treks will be taking a 300 meter rope for the trek in two weeks for the safety of both the clients and the porters.
