The editorial team of Buro 24/7 Singapore will be travelling to Nepal this May to help set up a digital classroom with Little Sun solar lights in The Life Vision Academy boarding school in Kathmandu.

Buro 24/7 Singapore is a fashion and lifestyle website that is part of the Buro 24/7 family founded by Miroslave Duma, a style maverick and powerhouse. The editorial team will be flying in to support the students of the Life Vision Academy by running a five day workshop that will serve as an introduction to the internet and e-learning.

Life Vision Academy is a secondary school with students who come mostly from underprivileged communities in Kathmandu. Buro 24/7’s team aims to build an IT classroom for the students and share their knowledge and expertise of the digital landscape with them. Solar lamps called Little Sun will also be donated to the school, which produces 10 hours of soft light after five hours of charging in the sun. The team hopes this will help the kids study during and cope with the daily power outages.

The team will also be visiting the heritage and tourist sites around Kathmandu, and preparing style notes, beauty inspiration notes and a list of best places to eat in the capital.
