Recently, Nepal bagging 6th place on the  National Geographic Traveller magazine’s Cool List 2016 gave a big boost to all tourism entrepreneurs at home. This welcome news could not have come at a better time when bookings have gone down by 50%.

More delightful news though! Nat Geo is not the only established travel magazine/publication to feature Nepal as one of the top destinations of 2016.

Fodor’s Go List 2016

Fodor, world’s largest publisher of English language travel guides, recommends booking a volun-tourism trip to Nepal in 2016 to combine both community work and adventure in the Himalayan nation. It urges travelers to help the rebuilding efforts by contributing valuable tourism dollars.

FAR’s Top 10 destinations for 2016

Award winning travel webzine AFAR ranks Nepal 2nd on its Top 10 coolest destinations for 2016. It states that the stunning snow-peaked Himalayas and lush jungle-filled plains have been declared safe and fit for tourists to return.
