Bernat Mareno, a Spanish illustrator has taken an initiative to design an art book about Nepal. Mareno has already published two illustrated books namely : IBIZA and I Love Mistakes. As a result he got the honor of participating in a newsletter campaign for the Canary Islands (Spain) and he witnessed the value of Art to promote tourism. Mareno was utterly impressed by Nepal when he traveled here back in 2008.

The art book will be in two different formats :

• One for you : An exclusive and limited  book only available for backers. Printed in high quality paper and bounded in Hardcover.  English and spanish.
• One for the world : A free promotional ebook to help relaunch tourism in Nepal. Specially designed for tablets and laptops.  English and spanish.

Mr. Mareno is doing this for a noble cause. Through this project, he aims to circulate acute information about the present condition of Nepal. According to Mareno, the April 2015 Earthquake and its subsequent aftershocks were tragic episodes in the history of Nepal. But the picture of Apocalypse as shown by the media is not real. They emphasized mostly on the tragedy part or the destruction caused by the earthquake. This has hampered tourism in Nepal adversely. Nepal is still exotic, welcoming , secure and magical as ever. Natural calamities are imminent but what matters the most is how we pull ourselves back. Nepalese people have very much succeeded in doing that. Instead of dwelling in sorrow, they are working actively to build a better Nepal. Through his project, he wants to demonstrate the real picture of Nepal.

If this project will turn out to be successful, he will travel to Nepal to do the inspiration part illustrations, sketches, explore the Nepali culture, etc. On the way back he will start the working part: finish the illustrations, texts and prepare your rewards.
