Rajan Shimkhada to represent Nepal in Adventure Travel Show

Rajan Shimkhada, the president of Earthbound Expeditions will represent Nepal in Adventure Travel Show which will be held in London on January 23 and 24. Simkhada will be making a presentation of “Nepali Still Trekkers Heaven ” at the event. “I will show data and show the world that tourist have not stopped coming to Nepal”, said Simkhada. “I will be promoting Nepal and the various products Nepal has to offer, besides trekking in the mountains, like spiritual tourism, yoga and meditation tourism, and agro tourism, among others.” According to the data ,around 40,000 trekkers traveled to the Everest region, 70,000 to the Annapurna Base Camp and 10,000 to the Langtang region in 2015. A total of 27,827 tourists from United Kingdom visited Nepal in 2015.
Furthermore, Simkhada said that he will be sharing the experiences of tourists who visited Nepal after the earthquake and how different it was from as picturised and explained by the media. He adds that he will also promote NepalNOW campaign in London and will encourage tourists to visit Nepal as Nepal is completely safe and open for business.
