Sammy Adventures is an eight episode web series that was created to show the world that Nepal is still travel-worthy after the big quake. The woman behind Nepal’s very first web Adventure Series is Samriddhi Rai. Rai has dropped the very first episode of the Sammy Adventures which is daring and brilliant. The first episode entitled “Chasing the Chitlang Cheese” takes you to an adventurous trip around Chitlang.

“Now that I have learnt about Chitlang’s ‘Shepard settlement’ history, their famous goat cheese production doesn’t come as a surprise. But while on my visit there, I found it unlikely for a place that is considered quite remote by capital city standards would have a factory to produce something as exotic sounding like authentic French goat cheese. But ever since Ashok Kumar Singh Thakuri was ferried to France to train in the techniques of goat cheese-making 13 years ago, he came back to Nepal and has been producing goat cheese like its running out of fashion. Thakuri tells me that most five-star hotels here get their quota of cheese from his factory; after tasting the cheese myself, I have no doubts of this information being anything but true.  “
