Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) came to Nepal last October, with a group of journalists and tour operators for the ‘Adventure Week Rebound Nepal on the Great Himalayan Trails’. ATTA and the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) came together in unified effort to help Nepal through the difficult post-quake period. Hosting ATTA’s annual Adventure week in Nepal, was one of the ways, in which ATTA and OIA sought to help rebuild the confidence of travelers in Nepal’s tourism industry. ATTA dedicated its 2015 Adventure Week – an annual familiarization trip for media and travel outfitters- to Nepal and brought 18 media and tour operators from around the world. The group visited cultural sites in Kathmandu, trekked in the Everest and Annapurna regions, paraglided through the skies of Pokhara and went on Jungle safaris in Chitwan. Check out the fun moments of that trip below.
