Jonny comes to Nepal

In a Youtube video just recently uploaded by the #YouHikeTheyRise campaign, a visitor to Nepal, ‘Jonny’, has his trip charted out, from the moment he lands at the Tribhuvan International Airport to his various sojourns around the Kathmandu Valley. The excellent video goes some ways towards showcasing the on-the-ground status of Kathmandu and its monuments. The visitor takes trips to the three durbar squares, Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath, all of which are safe to visit and provide much for the visitor to see.

The impetus behind the video is to illustrate just how much of Kathmandu is still standing, which is almost all of it, and just how much Kathmandu still offers its visitors. The message is that Nepal is open, Nepal is safe and Nepal welcomes all visitors.
