Namaste, Nepal a year later

“They are united to work together to overcome the crisis.

I have seen families working together to clean the rubble and to improve their thin shelters.

I have seen child labor, homeless kids for whom life is still a challenge.

The Earthquake shook the ground but never people’s beliefs.

It has certainly set them back but has not taken away their dignity and solidarity.

They might have been left with nothing but they are more welcoming than ever.

The best way to give them a helping hand is to go to Nepal in vacation.

Tourism is the lifeblood of Nepalese economy and if you are serious about helping them, don’t just give money, go visit.”

These words are by Black Pencil, a travel photographer, who had recently been to Nepal. Through his video entitled Namaste, Nepal after one year, he has appealed people to visit Nepal instead of just donating money. He has artistically and beautifully portrayed hardworking and resilient Nepali people in this video.
