Time-Lapse Renovation Video of Bouddhanath Stupa

Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world. The Stupa was destructed due to the earthquake last year and has now been completely renovated. Boudhanath Area Development Committee (BADC) completed the reconstruction task within 17 months. The reconstruction work of the Boudhanath Stupa began in June 2015 and was completed in November 2016.

This video shows the complete renovation process of the dome-shaped stupa, Bouddha. The time-lapse video was taken from from Feb 2015 to Nov 2016 and was published on the final day of Bouddhanath consercration ceremony of 20 November 2916.
