Nepali people do not greet each other with a handshake, but rather put their palms together and bow their forehead and say Namaste (directly translated as “I salute the God in you”) with a cheeky grin We are warm and we make friends easily  and its not uncommon to meet a guy at a bar the first time and he will get into a fight for you by the end of the evening, if need be!
